Dear guests,

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, we will say “I do” – both in a civil ceremony and in a free wedding ceremony.

You are all part of our lives in different ways – as family, as friends, and as companions along the way. That’s exactly why it means so much to us to share this special day with you, to laugh together, raise a glass, and create lasting memories.

On this page, you will find all the important information about our wedding.

We are truly looking forward to celebrating with you.

DETAILS

  • You are very welcome to bring your children. During the ceremonies, we kindly ask for a calm and relaxed atmosphere, so please keep a close eye on them at that time.

For small activities in between, it’s best to bring something along to keep them entertained.

  • For our civil ceremony, we’ve chosen a different setting: instead of the town hall, it will take place at Infopavillon 955. You can find the exact address and further details in the section “Civil Ceremony – External Office Infopavillon 955.

  • After the ceremonies, we would like to skip the traditional receiving line. Instead, we prefer to celebrate with you throughout the day in a relaxed way and receive your congratulations personally.

  • Before the wedding, our maid of honor and best man will be happy to assist you with any questions or small requests. You can find their contact details in the section “Our Wedding Party.”

On the wedding day itself, they, together with our helpers, will be your main points of contact so that we can fully enjoy the day without any worries.

  • Our dog Amaya will be joining us for a while from the start of the ceremony and may be moving around freely at times.

If you would like to bring your own dog, please let us know in advance. In general, this is not a problem – we would just like to coordinate it beforehand.

  • For our wedding, we would love you to dress in a festive yet relaxed style. Feel free to dress up, but it shouldn’t feel like a ball or a strictly formal event. Whether it’s dress trousers or a suit, a summer or cocktail dress, or another stylish outfit – what matters most is that you feel comfortable and can fully enjoy the day.

When it comes to colors, you are completely free. If you’d like a bit of inspiration, you are welcome – entirely optionally – to take cues from our color concept: shades of green and natural tones, as well as berry tones or violet, work particularly well.

There is just one small exception: please avoid wearing an entirely white outfit. White as part of your look is, of course, absolutely fine.

  • If you happen to get tired earlier, please don’t feel bad about leaving. If we’re on the dance floor or in the middle of a conversation, feel free to slip away quietly – we truly appreciate you being with us until that moment.

  • From the first bite to dessert, our entire culinary offering on this day will be fully plant-based. What exactly it will look like remains our little secret for now.

Of course, we will take allergies and intolerances into account. Please make sure to indicate these when you RSVP.

  • Your presence is the greatest gift to us, so we kindly ask you to refrain from bringing physical presents. If you would still like to give something, we would appreciate a small envelope.

And because it might get lost in the excitement of the day, we would like to say it already from the bottom of our hearts: thank you!

  • We have reserved a room contingent for you at Hotel Schempp. You can find all details in the section “Hotel Schempp.”

Alternatively, you are welcome to arrive with a camper and stay overnight in the nearby business area close to the venue – probably the shortest way home you’ll have that evening.

  • On this day, people from Germany, France, England, and Spain will come together – all of whom mean a great deal to us. Take the opportunity to get to know each other and enjoy the celebration together.

And if words ever fall short, a smile, a drink, or a game always helps to bring people together.

  • For the civil ceremony, parking is available at the nearby high school as well as at the Königsbrunn Park & Ride. You can find further details in the section “Civil Ceremony – External Office Infopavillon 955.”

At the SinGold Distillery, you can park in the surrounding business area. Please avoid the turning circle and the dirt road directly in front of the venue – there is plenty of parking available along the nearby streets.

  • During the ceremonies, we kindly ask for your full attention. Your phones can take a little break during this time. Our photographer Alex will capture the most beautiful moments and emotions, so you can sit back and fully enjoy the occasion. The photos will be shared with you afterwards.

  • August 8, 2026 is a public holiday in Augsburg, so shops within the city will be closed on that day. Outside the city (for example, near the hotel and the venue), stores will be open as usual.

  • Your response will help us with further planning. Please let us know by May 15, 2026, via the form below whether you will be able to celebrate with us.

  • Ceremonies
For the ceremonies, we kindly ask you to leave the front row seats to our parents, our maid of honor and best man, as well as our helpers. Thank you for your understanding.

    Dinner
At the venue, you will find a seating plan that will guide you to your table. Think of it as the beginning of a small journey – where it takes you, you’ll discover on site.

  • If you are planning a speech or a special contribution, you are very welcome to do so. To ensure everything fits smoothly into the flow of the day, we kindly ask you to coordinate this in advance with our maid of honor and best man.

  • For a safe journey home, we recommend sharing a taxi (+49 821 35025) or using Uber – so you can enjoy the evening with us until the very end.

  • We kindly ask you to refrain from throwing confetti, rice, or flower petals. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Wedding Party

By our side are our maid of honor, Anna, and our best man, Julian – two people who are very close to us and who are helping shape this special day together with us.

If you have any questions or requests before or on the wedding day that you would prefer not to discuss directly with us, please feel free to reach out to them at any time – especially if it’s meant to be a surprise.

  • Maid of Honor

Steffi and Anna met in a rather spontaneous way: Anna had simply planned to pick up her partner at the time – and suddenly found herself in the car with Domi and Steffi. Admittedly, first impressions weren’t made entirely sober – but apparently they lasted.

From that moment, a deep friendship grew over the years. Shared yoga sessions, epic game nights – often lasting several hours or even days – a love for fantasy novels, and a shared passion for the best cinnamon rolls in the world – still unbeaten, in Norway – are just part of it.

What makes this friendship so special is how natural it feels: they can rely on each other, in quiet and difficult moments just as much as in the big, joyful ones.

A genuine and meaningful bond that Steffi couldn’t imagine her life without – and that’s exactly why Anna is by her side on this day.

  • Best Man

Julian and Dominik share a friendship that goes back more than 20 years, shaped especially during their time at business high school. Not only did they graduate together, but as student representatives they also took on their share of “responsibility” – occasionally pushing both teachers and the school administration to the edge of their patience, from everyday school life to their graduation speech.

After school, they lived together in a shared apartment in Freiburg, with everything that comes with it: a second freezer for frozen food, a fridge full of beer complete with an ice dispenser for cocktails, countless nights in Freiburg’s techno clubs, and biweekly visits to see SC Freiburg play.

Later, Dominik moved to Augsburg for professional reasons. While they saw each other less often, their friendship remained unchanged. When Julian got married, Dominik had the honor of being his best man. Four years later, the circle is complete: at Dominik’s wedding, Julian takes on this role.

A friendship that has grown over many years and shows how valuable it is to have people by your side who accompany you through life.
